my story
I have been a professional actor, broadcaster and voice artist since 1997. As an actor I have performed in all facets of the genre such as TV, Film, Radio, Revue and Live Theatre. For the last 12 years I have also worked as a commentator on local radio and global streaming platforms covering Football and Rugby League. I am a freelance employee of the Super League team Wigan Warriors.

As a voice artist, my experience is vast and wide ranging. Since turning professional I have voiced dozens of radio and television commercials both locally and nationally. My experience also includes corporate videos, computer games, ADR work for film and TV, narration and Live Events such as the Commonwealth Games.

My main interest is in animation and over the years I have been lucky to work on some big projects. For six years I voiced the characters of Toad, Oliver and Douglas for HIT Entertainment's Thomas the Tank Engine and Friends both in the UK and US versions. My work on Thomas also includes three theatrically released feature films alongside such voices as the Oscar winners Olivia Colman and Eddie Redmayne.

I voiced several parts in Jim Henson's Dinosaur Train for Nickelodeon and for more recently I worked on Toot n' Puddle, Top Wing and Zak Jinks for Nick Jr. I also voiced the lead character of Sam in Sony's animated series The Invizimals.

My most recent animation work was voicing the role of Cricket and various other characters in Pinocchio and Friends for BBC Television.

To date I have narrated 39 audiobooks for Audible which include the critically acclaimed Alex King series written by AP Bateman. For the same author I am currently narrating of new series of books following the character D.I. Grant.

I have a home studio, an ISDN facility and my working hours are flexible to suit your needs. My rates are competitive and I can voice, mix and master your project in numerous audio formats.

I am a highly experienced and versatile artist who specialises in accents and character voices as well as commercial and corporate reads. If you have a project you wish to discuss with me please go to my contacts page.

“Make it do,” his mother said. And somehow, he always did.
What if you were flying into war with barely three weeks of training? What if your first dogfight ended with your guns still on safety? What if a single wrong turn landed you in a prison camp halfway across Europe, unsure if you'd ever see home again?
This is the extraordinary true story of Ken Cam, a young RAF Spitfire pilot hurled into the chaos of World War II far from ready—but never backing down.
From that uncertain beginning, Make It Do follows Ken’s astonishing wartime journey.
